The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, commemorated the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, stressing that the assassination of individuals does not end ideas and ideals, and that the name of the deceased transcended partisan frameworks to become a symbol of honor and steadfastness in the memory of the region.
Araqji explained that Nasrallah was associated with a long path that extended for decades of struggle against the occupation and defending the sovereignty of the peoples of the region, belonging to a generation of leaders whose experiences of occupation, wars, and successive crises refined their political vision.
In a related context, the Iranian minister touched on Sheikh Naim Qassem assuming leadership of Hezbollah, considering that his assumption of this position at an extremely difficult stage reflects the continuation of the approach of resistance and adherence to rights.
