The truck sector file entered the joint government coordination department, following an expanded meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, which included three ministers to discuss regulatory procedures related to the sector and develop a unified working mechanism to address the outstanding files.
In details, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, the Minister of Labor, Muhammad Haider, and the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamni, met in a coordination meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of a number of officials and those concerned with sectoral affairs.
The meeting was devoted to reviewing the current reality of the truck sector, where they discussed ways to establish a joint and effective coordination mechanism between the relevant ministries, ensuring that the issues raised are addressed under the applicable laws and regulations.
