Enrique: I'm not worried about when Saint-Germain will reach its best levels

Luis Enrique confirmed that he is not worried about when Paris Saint-Germain will reach its best levels, on the eve of facing Monaco in the French League, after the team tied in two consecutive matches against Rennes and Lille with a score of 2-2.

In response to a question about when the team will be 100 percent ready, Enrique said that it depends on many factors that he cannot control, explaining that his mission is to choose the best lineup for each match.
He pointed out that the team did not lose any player who was a starter in the Champions League final, while it signed a number of young players, considering that the combination of experience and youth may be positive, but it needs time to judge its results.
Enrique stressed that new players need a period to adapt, citing his experience in his second season, when some new signings were criticized before later proving their potential. He stressed his satisfaction with the transfer market and the players the club signed.
Regarding Bradley Barkola’s departure to Liverpool, he said that all parties benefited from the deal, explaining that the player wanted to leave to obtain a greater role, which is something that cannot be guaranteed for any player, but must be proven during training.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the attacking trio of Torres, Godets and Akleush, calling for them not to be compared to each other, stressing that the team’s goals are clear, most important of which is competing for the most important tournaments, most notably the European Champions League.
