Real Madrid organized an official welcome ceremony for its new Portuguese star, Bernardo Silva, who recently joined the ranks of the Royal Club, in a special ceremony held behind closed doors and away from the media spotlight and crowds.
Club President Florentino Pérez received the Portuguese player in the boardroom, where Silva signed his official joining contracts with Merengue, which extend until June 30, 2028, in the presence of the club’s honorary president, Jose “Perry” Martinez.
This step came within the framework of changing the traditions of the Royal Club for this season by limiting the presentation ceremony to private family meetings, so that Bernardo Silva concluded a busy career that extended for nine seasons with Manchester City, and officially transferred in a free deal to strengthen the midfield of the capital club.
