He participated in plans against its forces... Israel announces the targeting of a prominent Hezbollah leader

In a development that followed the operation that targeted Israeli forces in the security zone, the Israeli army announced that it had targeted a prominent commander in Hezbollah’s “Badr” unit, during a raid it carried out on Saturday in the Deir Al-Zahrani area.

The Israeli army spokeswoman, Ella Wawiya, published in a post on the “X” platform that the Israeli army targeted Abu Hassan Alaa, whom she described as a prominent commander in the party’s “Badr” unit.

According to the publication, Abu Hassan Alaa, within the framework of his position, participated in pushing a number of plans against the Israeli forces operating in the security zone, including launching explosive drones towards the forces in southern Lebanon.

Wawiyah added that in recent years, Abu Hassan Alaa led several Hezbollah combat zones against Israeli forces and Israeli citizens.

She indicated that his targeting came in response to the operation carried out by Hezbollah against the Israeli army forces operating in the security zone, considering that targeting him constitutes a blow to the unit’s management capabilities.

Wawiyah also linked the operation to the targeting of Ali Samir Al-Hajj Hassan, who she said served as a battalion commander in the “Al-Radwan Force” unit, and was targeted at the command headquarters in Ansar.

She concluded by affirming that the Israeli army will not allow Hezbollah to harm the citizens of Israel and its forces, and will continue to work to remove what it considers threats.
