Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia, hinted at the possibility of retiring from football at the end of the current season, as he revealed that this year “may be his last on the field,” indicating that he wants to spend more time with his family.
Ronaldo said in an interview with Vogue magazine: This may be my last year in football, and I want to leave an exceptional legacy.
The Portuguese star confirmed that he is looking forward to spending more time with his family after football, noting that he has already set a vision for his future after retirement.
Ronaldo added: I have my entire future mapped out. I have so many things to keep me busy, that it’s hard to mention just one thing. Because football can leave a big void, so you have to fill your time in different ways, not just one thing.
The Al-Nasr star continued: I also want to have more fun, travel more, watch and practice the sport of padel, which I love very much, and continue to enjoy what I have achieved, with what we have achieved. After all, it was 25 years filled with a lot of sacrifices.
