On the dollar .. This is the policy of the Bank of Lebanon

Amid talking about the existence of a plan to restructure debts, a renewed talk has emerged from the price of the dollar price in Lebanon after the stability of more than two years.

As a reminder, during the month of September 2019, the price of the dollar in Lebanon began to fluctuate, breaking the threshold of 1500 pounds to gradually increase. Accordingly, after 6 years of this, the question is asked .. What is the situation of the central bank today on the dollar?
Banking sources told Lebanon 24 ″ that the Bank of Lebanon currently does not intend to change its approved policies in terms of maintaining the price of the dollar in the market based on 89,500 pounds, noting that “the current stability is required by the central bank and there is no possibility to prejudice it at all.”
The sources considered that “the stability of the dollar at the price of 89,500 Lebanese pounds in addition to the use of the Bank of Lebanon for its tools in the market to buy dollars, all factors that helped the latter to accumulate precautions from the hard currency.”
