The investigation revealed that the girl was part of an organized gang, including her husband, who pretends to be her brother, and a fake authoritarian. The fraud methods included requesting travel tickets and persuading the victims to a fake religious marriage ceremony, which made the process seem more credible. One of the victims, Egyptian engineer Mohamed Haitham Fouda, indicated that he traveled to Turkey three months after acquaintance to complete the marriage, to discover later that the girl and her fake and authorized family are part of an organized fraud network. It also turned out that the real name of the girl Raghad Awad and that she is married and has a child, and cooperates with her husband in the fraud. In terms of legal aspect, Turkish lawyer Othman Prattit explained that the Turkish authorities have the authority to investigate and prosecute the judicial, regardless of the victim’s nationality or the perpetrator, where the penalty for these crimes reaches prison between one year and five years.
