“Lebanon Debate” learned that the Criminal Court in Baabda, headed by Judge Zalfa Al-Hassan, held a lengthy session today to follow up on the file of forged university certificates linked to the Lebanese University.

According to the information, all defendants attended the session, except for journalist Fadi Abu Dayyeh, who was absent, which prompted Judge Al-Hassan to issue a decision to implement the arrest warrant issued against him.

Thus, Abu Dayyeh became wanted by the Lebanese security services, as his name was circulated to land, sea and air ports in preparation for his arrest if he was found.

The court also decided to postpone the session until next October 8, to complete consideration of the file and follow up on the judicial procedures taken against the defendants.

This measure comes within the framework of the ongoing prosecutions in the file of forged university certificates, which the Lebanese judiciary is following up to uncover all those involved and determine legal responsibilities.
