In parallel with the Baabda movement, the movement of the US ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, has emerged in recent days, as information from “Call of the Nation” reported that he is in daily contact with US President Donald Trump, especially after his return from Washington, where he participated in the fourth round of Lebanese-Israeli negotiations under American sponsorship.
The information indicates that Issa is focusing his communications on exploring the reactions of the Lebanese components to the American President’s words regarding the use of Syrian forces to deal with “Hezbollah.” It is revealed that this proposal, which came out publicly, was not the result of its moment, but had previously been discussed within the decision-making centers in the American capital, and it is a serious proposal that does not fall under the category of maneuvering.
