Georgina Rodriguez, the fiancée of the Portuguese Al-Nasr player, Cristiano Ronaldo, spoke about her relationship with Antonella Roccuzzo, the wife of the Argentine player, Lionel Messi, and said, “Some always try to ignite the rivalry between Cristiano and Messi, but frankly, mutual respect has always prevailed between our families.”
In a statement on the “imperiofutbolec” platform, Georgina described Antonella as a “good-hearted woman” and said that she is a “wonderful mother.”
She added: “Over the years, we have communicated a few times through social media. I remember that I congratulated Thiago on his birthday via an Antonella post on Instagram. I also liked her post when Messi and Inter Miami won the MLS Cup, because achievements always deserve appreciation.”
She continued: “She also left positive comments on some of her family and celebratory posts in the past. Football competitions belong on the field, but outside of it, respect is the basis.”
