Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee, through the “X” platform, issued an urgent warning to the residents of a number of Lebanese towns, calling for their immediate evacuation and staying away from them for a distance of no less than 1,000 meters.
The warning included the towns of: Mashghara, Deir Al-Zahrani, Al-Sharqiya in Nabatieh, Al-Duwair, Qalaya in the West Bekaa, Sohmar in the West Bekaa, Zabdin, Nabatieh Al-Tahta, Arabsalim and Kafr Joz.
Adraee said that the Israeli army “will act forcefully against Hezbollah” in these areas, claiming that the party is “violating the ceasefire agreement,” adding that “everyone who is near Hezbollah members, facilities, and combat means puts his life in danger.”
This warning comes in light of the escalation of field tension in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, with the continuation of raids and mutual threats between Israel and Hezbollah, amid fears that the scope of the confrontation will expand in the coming hours.
