Launch an application WhatsApp A new feature within its beta update to Android 2.26.19.4 allows users to manage storage space within channels more easily, by sorting media by categories before deleting unnecessary files.

The application continues to develop its storage management tools, as users can now access the “Storage Management” section within Settings to get a detailed view of the space used, along with smart suggestions that help save additional space.

Among these suggestions is the possibility of activating disappearing messages to automatically reduce the accumulation of photos and videos over time, in addition to deleting unused language packs that may consume space without actual benefit.

The application also displays a list of the conversations, groups, and channels that consume the most storage, with the ability to sort them by size or filter them to display only the channels or chats.

WhatsApp is also working on developing additional features in the future, including dedicated tools for managing status updates, by adding filters that help users review old or unnecessary statuses and quickly delete them to free up storage space.

According to reports, these features are still under testing, and will be gradually released to users in subsequent updates after the development phase ends.
