Villages and towns in southern Lebanon have been witnessing a massive Israeli escalation since the morning hours, with air strikes continuing and targeting a number of areas, leading to the death of a martyr and severe damage to facilities and property.

Information reported that a person was martyred in an Israeli raid that targeted a motorcycle on the Al-Hosh-Al-Bazuriyah road, while Israeli aircraft carried out a raid on the town of Al-Haniya.

Successive raids were also recorded on the towns of Al-Ghandouriya, Al-Mansouri, Srifa and Yater, where a second raid targeted the Al-Haqban area in Yater, coinciding with two violent raids on the town of Tibnin.

In this context, circulated images showed severe damage to Tibnin Governmental Hospital as a result of the violent Israeli raids that targeted its surroundings, amid a state of tension and alert in the region.

This escalation comes in light of the continuing confrontations on the southern front and the exchange of bombing between Hezbollah and Israel, amid the expansion of Israeli targeting to include several towns and civilian areas in the south.
