In a video clip published by Israeli army spokeswoman Ella Wawiyeh on the “X” platform, she said that Hezbollah uses civilian facilities as part of its military activities, noting that military infrastructure was found inside civilian environments in southern Lebanon.
She explained that these sites include children’s rooms, clothing stores, mosques, ambulances, hospitals and schools, noting that in recent weeks, and during the activity of Israeli army forces in the south, infrastructure described as being planted inside civilian areas was repeatedly uncovered.
She added that as part of what she described as removing threats from the south of the defense line, more than 50 infrastructure had been destroyed in recent days, including an underground complex that she said was being used in military activities against Israel.
She indicated that during a specific operation in the Akshit Qusayr area, a weapons store was found inside a children’s room, containing explosive bombs, Kalashnikov rifles, RPG shells, hand grenades and ammunition.
She concluded by saying that these data indicate that Hezbollah is operating from within civilian areas in Lebanon, stressing that the Israeli army will continue its operations against what it described as threats, in accordance with the directives of the political level.
