Ansu Fati is moving away from Barcelona.. His father reveals his position

Bori Fati, the father of Ansu Fati, the Barcelona player loaned to Monaco, has decided the fate of his son regarding his return to the ranks of the Catalan team in the coming period.

The player’s father explained that Ansu feels comfortable with his experience with Monaco and looks forward to remaining within the ranks of the French team, pointing out that the final decision remains dependent on the vision of Hansi Flick, Barcelona’s coach.

In statements reported by the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Bori Fati stated: “We still do not know what will happen to his future, because he is linked to a contract until 2028, that is certain.”

He added: “We do not know his future, but we want him to stay in Monaco because he is happy there.”

He continued, saying: “Fleck has not contacted him yet. It depends on him, but they have not spoken yet.”

According to press reports, Monaco is satisfied with Fati’s level and hopes to keep him, but on financial terms commensurate with the club’s capabilities.

It is noteworthy that Fati had renewed his contract with Barcelona until June 2028 before moving to Monaco, with part of his financial dues postponed. The loan contract includes a clause allowing Monaco to buy the player for about 11 million euros, but his high salary represents the biggest obstacle to completing the deal.

Reports indicate that the talks may include a significant reduction in the player’s salary, in addition to agreeing on a clause that gives Barcelona the option to buy back the player for a value exceeding 25 million euros.

It is worth noting that Fati, 23 years old, scored 9 goals in 22 matches he played with Monaco in the French League.
