English footballer Courtney Meby-Walter, former captain of the England youth national team, has died at the age of 32, according to what was announced by his former club, Bury, without revealing the causes of death yet.
The late player began his football career in the Manchester City Academy, and represented the English teams for different age groups, before his professional career turned around after wearing the shirts of a number of clubs such as Carlisle United, Stockport County, and Bury.
In 2012, Meby-Walter went through a tragic accident when he caused a traffic accident that killed two people as a result of driving at high speed. He was subsequently convicted of causing death by dangerous driving, and in 2013 he was sentenced to 16 months in prison.
After serving his sentence, the player returned to the field again and played football in lower division clubs in England, until the Bury club announced the news of his death, offering its deep condolences to his family and friends.
