The South Lebanon Water Corporation issued a statement in which it announced that “immediately after the announcement of the ceasefire, it began, through its engineering teams, to conduct inspections and assess the faults and damage to the installations, stations and wells, as a result of the recent aggression. The Khartoum Well, the Marwaniyah Well, and the Kouthariyah Al-Siyad Well were inspected, in addition to treating the leaks at the Tasa Spring Station – Jarjou. It also began coordinating with the Electricité du Liban to address some faults associated with electricity transformers or lines.” Public services.”
The Foundation explained in its statement that “this step comes within the framework of the Foundation’s rapid action and emergency response plans to accompany the return of people to their homes in the villages of the south, and to ensure the gradual return of water services in the affected areas.”
The corporation stressed that it “has begun maintenance and repair work, according to priorities and needs, with the aim of restarting the stations and ensuring the continuity of pumping water to citizens as soon as possible.”
