Saudi Football Association: We will protect the integrity of competitions

The Saudi Football Association announced the launch of committees concerned with taking the necessary legal measures regarding the events that accompanied the match between Al-Fayhaa and Al-Ahly in the 29th round of the Saudi Roshan Professional League, in addition to the media statements that followed.

The Federation stated that it will announce any new developments in accordance with the official regulatory procedures, based on its commitment to the approved mechanisms, and out of respect for the independence of the work of the committees and the requirements of governance and transparency.

The Saudi Football Association also stressed that maintaining the integrity of competition and protecting the reputation of Saudi football is a fundamental obligation and a legal duty under its statute and approved regulations.

In the same context, the Federation expressed its appreciation to all clubs, stressing its keenness to cooperate with them as partners in developing Saudi football, within the framework of a system built on integration and shared responsibility.
