Aoun sends a message of hope to the Lebanese: "Let it be a message of revival"

President Joseph Aoun congratulated the Lebanese people, Christians and Muslims, on the occasion of the Feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, considering it “the comprehensive national holiday that unites all Lebanese around the meanings of hope and new life.”

President Aoun expressed his hope, saying: “Let the good news of this Eid be the good news of progress, the good news of unity, and the good news of a nation that will overcome its sorrows and take again the path of sovereignty, dignity, justice, unity, and construction.”

The President concluded his congratulations by wishing: “Happy New Year to Lebanon.”

This congratulations from the President of the Republic comes in the midst of a sensitive period that Lebanon is going through, witnessing complex challenges at the political, security and economic levels, in conjunction with internal efforts aimed at restoring stability and strengthening the foundations of the state.
