Escalation: Israeli aircraft extend their raids from the south to the Bekaa

The military situation on the southern front is witnessing a noticeable escalation, as Israel carried out a series of successive raids on several towns in recent hours, which indicates a widening of the scope of targets and increases fears about a more dangerous phase on the border.

In this regard, a reporter reported that an Israeli drone targeted the town of Nabatiyeh Al-Fawqa, in a new strike added to the series of raids targeting areas in the south.

He also pointed out that another Israeli drone bombed the Qadmus area with two missiles, while intensive drone flights continue over many southern regions.

In a related context, Israeli warplanes launched two raids on the town of Zalaya in the Bekaa, which demonstrates the expansion of the targeting circle to include areas beyond the direct border areas.

In addition, an Israeli raid targeted the town of Sinai in the south, while another raid targeted the Ali al-Tahir Heights, with sounds of explosions being heard in a number of nearby villages.

These raids come amid escalating clashes between Israel and Hezbollah on the southern front, where the past hours have witnessed an intense exchange of bombing and military operations.

In recent days, Israel has expanded the range of its air strikes, targeting a number of areas in the south, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut, in conjunction with repeated Israeli warnings of additional escalation if rockets continue to be fired from Lebanese territory.

On the other hand, the “Islamic Resistance” announced the implementation of a series of missile operations targeting Israeli military sites in the Upper Galilee and border areas, as part of the ongoing confrontations along the Lebanese border.
