Trump tweets a reaction to Musk's promise to grant shares "SpaceX" For America's children

US President Donald Trump praised the pledge in which billionaire Elon Musk included granting shares in the company “SpaceX” to millions of American children, considering that this step is in line with the goals of “Trump’s accounts.”

In a post on social media platforms, Trump expressed his appreciation for Musk’s “generosity,” noting that the initiative embodies the vision behind the establishment of “Trump Accounts,” which is based on a private sector partnership to invest in American children, whom he described as “the country’s greatest assets, to give every child a part of the American dream.”

The Associated Press reported that Musk pledged to give every child in the United States one share in SpaceX next year. This pledge came after the artificial intelligence company Anthropic announced the allocation of 5% of its shares to a new public benefit fund known as the “Anthropic Public Benefit Fund,” which is a new entity whose value may grow as the company’s shares rise. This was commented on by Musk, suggesting that shares be granted directly to the public.

It is noteworthy that SpaceX shares closed trading last Friday at $146.03 per share. Accordingly, the total value of Musk’s pledge is estimated at $10.66 billion, based on the presence of about 73 million children under the age of 18 in the United States.

Musk has not yet provided additional details about the executive mechanism for distributing shares, only pointing out that this step represents “the first of many steps to come.”
