The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, arrived at the Masnaa border point, to participate in an expanded meeting that included European Union ambassadors, representatives of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and the General Directorate of Public Security, to discuss the project to establish a new border post.
This meeting falls within the framework of efforts aimed at developing the border infrastructure and enhancing administrative and logistical readiness at the Masnaa crossing, which represents an essential transit artery between Lebanon and Syria.
It is expected that the attendees will address the technical and engineering requirements for establishing the new center, in order to enhance joint cooperation between the Lebanese authorities and the European Union, which will contribute to organizing transit movement and raising the efficiency of crossing management.
