Crossing the barrier led to collision with the cement divider

A horrific traffic accident occurred on the Dinniyeh main road in the locality of Ashash, at a Lebanese army checkpoint, resulting in four people being injured, and two people remaining stuck inside the vehicle, amid severe traffic jams in the area.

In detail, the “Lebanon Debate” correspondent reported that the accident occurred while the security forces were taking security measures and erecting a checkpoint in Al-Mahalla, where a car crossed the place at high speed and without complying with the orders of the security personnel, which led to the driver losing control and colliding with the middle cement divider of the checkpoint.

The collision resulted in four people being injured. The Emergency and Relief Service intervened to rescue two of them and transfer them to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. On the other hand, the force of the collision caused two people to be detained inside the car, awaiting the completion of the efforts of the emergency rescue teams to pull them out using specialized hydraulic equipment.

The accident caused traffic paralysis and a heavy traffic jam on the Al-Dinniyeh main road in the Ashash locality, coinciding with the continuation of ambulance and rescue operations at the accident site.
