The Revolutionary Guard Intelligence Organization in Iran announced that it has placed a series of security and intelligence measures on its agenda, relying on its available information network and technical and human capabilities, in light of the continued state of security and military alert in the country.
The organization said, in a statement, that the most prominent measures are to maintain a high level of monitoring and readiness on a permanent basis, and to work to strengthen operational and military capabilities in a way that allows, as it put it, to deliver “a strike that changes the equation” when necessary.
She indicated that her plan also includes confronting any movements that would disturb internal calm or affect community cohesion, in addition to working to protect what she described as the psychological security of society and maintain internal unity.
On the intelligence side, the organization confirmed that it will work to thwart the espionage operations and security movements that it says foreign intelligence services are trying to carry out inside Iranian territory and along the border, while strengthening monitoring and follow-up operations in the border areas.
It also announced a continued state of vigilance against what it described as “new ISIS,” in addition to networks of armed groups and elements associated with or cooperating with them.
The announcement came as part of a broader statement by Revolutionary Guard Intelligence that addressed its assessment of the developments that Iran has witnessed over the past months. The organization said that parties hostile to Tehran are working, according to its estimates, to modernize their methods and move to tools that include economic pressure, psychological warfare, and attempts to exploit internal crises.
The organization claimed that its information indicates the existence of coordination between American, Israeli, and British intelligence services, along with Iranian opposition parties, with the aim of increasing pressure on Iran from within. These are allegations contained in a Revolutionary Guards statement, for which there has been no independent confirmation.
The tightening of security measures coincides with the passage of about 6 months since the outbreak of the military confrontation between Iran on the one hand and the United States and Israel on the other hand in late February 2026, which was accompanied by a widespread military and security escalation and restrictions on navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to a high level of alert inside Iran and on its borders.
The announced measures indicate that the Revolutionary Guards intelligence services are currently focusing on four main axes: raising military readiness and monitoring, maintaining internal security, thwarting espionage operations and enhancing border security, in addition to monitoring the networks of armed groups and their associated elements.
