The report comes within a series of semi-annual market reports issued by the Centre, and is also based on sale, rent and mortgage transactions that were recorded during this period.
Rashid Al Omaira, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center (ADREC), said: “The numbers monitor the movement of the markets, but understanding the market requires looking beyond that. Every sale, lease and mortgage deal in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi provides a deeper understanding of the market and enables us to monitor its path with greater accuracy. The indicators for the first half of the year 2026 reflect the strength of the market supported by the sustainability of demand and the presence of a transparent system based on laws, regulations and reliable data that enhances the balance between supply.” And the demand.”
He added: “Residential units that are still under construction accounted for the largest share of the value of residential sales, which highlights the importance of the center’s regulatory role during the stages that precede the completion of projects. The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center continues to focus on establishing clarity, trust and justice for all participants in the market, by providing reliable information, protecting buyers’ funds, and applying effective regulatory frameworks capable of keeping pace with various market cycles.”
