“We will keep it.” Trump declares full control over the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump reiterated that the United States has “complete” control over the Strait of Hormuz, expressing his belief that Washington will maintain this control.

Trump said, in a post on the “Truth Social” platform, that the American naval blockade on the Strait has become described as a “wall of steel,” considering that Iran does not have the ability to deal with it or change this reality.

He added that Iran has lost its main military capabilities, noting that it no longer has an effective naval or air force, while he said that the remainder of its forces are suffering from non-payment of salaries, and that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has suffered great losses and is “retreating and fleeing.”

Trump questioned the ability of the Iranian leadership to run the country, saying that Iran was suffering from a severe financial and economic crisis, and describing its internal situation as “devastating.”

He accused Tehran of relying on what he described as “fake news” and media misinformation, in addition to high inflation rates, which he said had reached 300% and were heading for further deterioration.

Trump concluded by saying that Iran has become “all talk and no action,” adding that it no longer represents “the bully in the Middle East,” before ending his post with the phrase: “Praise be to God.”
