The Israeli newspaper “Jerusalem Post” published a new report saying that “the two -state solution on Israel and Palestine is facing the risk of collapse at the United Nations,” claiming that “a new approach should be sought.”
The report, translated by “Lebanon 24”, says that it is “urgent for democratic leaders to support the establishment of a Palestinian state, while Hama continues to detain hostages and power in Gaza,” and added: “As expected, Hama Movement rejoiced that calls for establishing a Palestinian state represented Palestinian political and moral pressure on Israel.”
He continued: “It is clear that the movement and many Palestinians realize that these moves are a strike for Israel, rewards for its brutality on the seventh of October, and a factor of inhibiting the release of the hostages and surrender, which would end the misery of the inhabitants of Gaza.”
He concluded: “It is true that we are stuck now.
On the other hand, another report of the “Times of Israel” newspaper says that New York on moving towards a two -state solution “is dangerous,” noting that “this declaration is not a road map of peace, but rather a recipe for more instability in the Middle East.”
He continued: “France’s role is very important. It seems that President Emmanuel Macron, who is already looking forward to his post -presidency, is more interested in the international appearance than in the formulation of an applicable peace plan. As for London, it continues to imitate a century of interference in the region without assuming a real responsibility for its consequences.”
He continued: “The declaration explicitly condemns the Hama attack on October 7, 2023, and calls for its disarmament and the transfer of power in Gaza to the Palestinian Authority, but it avoids mentioning other armed groups, such as the Palestinian Islamic or the Iraqi or the Black In the West Bank. By reducing the security threat to Hamas alone, the ignores the complex armed environment that flourishes in both Gaza and the West Bank.”
He added: “Even if Hama threw her weapon, it will reorganize its ranks secretly. Hamas, which has become visible today, and therefore targeted, will become secret, difficult to confront, and perhaps more dangerous – not only on Israel, but also any future Palestinian state that lacks the force necessary to control it.”
He said: “New York is not determined on a two -state solution in any part of the form of the institutions of the Palestinian state. Likewise, the media does not mention a constitution, no controls and balances, nor does it talk about international supervision. This mystery paved the way for a failed state, which is exposed to militias and foreign influence.”
The report stated that “the declaration absent any demand for the recognition of all Arab countries in Israel. The Palestinian state is considered the best solution, while the party turns a blind eye to the rejection of some regional parties to accept the legitimacy of Israel. Without full recognition from all parts of the Arab world, the two -state solution will not be fulfilled permanently; rather, the conflict will be frozen in a new and unstable image.”
He continued: “New York is a political play, as it appears impressive on paper, but nothing changes on the ground. The guns will not be silent, hate will not fade, and the militias will not be delivered.
He continued: “What also raises concern is the absence of a reliable economic framework for the Palestinian state. Without strict conditions and control, foreign financing is likely to strengthen the influence of forces such as Iran and Turkey. Instead of this contributing to the stability of the region, the proxy conflicts will deepen and deepen the divisions.”
He concluded: “New York is not a solution, but rather a doubling of the problem. By focusing on Hama only, and his ignorance of other militias and his inability to demand a comprehensive Arab recognition of Israel, it builds on wrong assumptions. Instead of establishing the foundations of peace, he pave the way for a future from a renewed conflict, deeper instability, and shattered delusions.”
