A statement indicated that “the meeting stopped at length when the upcoming parliamentary elections were entitled to next May, stressing” their categorical rejection of any attempts to postpone this entitlement or disrupt it under any excuse. “

The gathering stressed that “the parliamentary entitlement is an opportunity for the Lebanese to choose their representatives and build a political authority that expresses their aspirations,” stressing that “this entitlement will be accompanied by serious preparation for the elections in various Lebanese regions, with candidates for their presence and their role in public affairs and enjoy a record in the service of people and society.”
