The former President of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, received in Clemenceau, the American envoy for the Middle East, Tom Barak, accompanied by Senator Jin Shaheen, US Congress member Joe Wilson, and the American ambassador to Beirut Lisa Johnson.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Timur Jumblatt, and former ministers Marwan Hamada and Wael Abu Faour, along with the Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamani. The meeting included a discussion of various local and regional developments, in light of the rapid political developments taking place in the region.
