In a complete opinion, “the war between Russia and Ukraine and the use of huge shells led in recent periods to obstruct the advent of cold air masses to our region, and this caused very different weather fluctuations from recording very high temperatures to the formation of torrents.”
Narrow wealth is dangerous
He warned that “the destruction of forest wealth in Lebanon by cutting the trees that take place in a number of towns and by some municipalities helped to expand and cause mobile fires that we are witnessing daily,” noting the absence of specialized ministries such as the environment, agriculture and interior in relation to the catastrophe to destroy the forest wealth that is currently happening in Lebanon.
Kamel demanded that everyone who cuts trees is randomly and without observation, indicating that “it is allowed to cut the trees in December and the second and what is happening is currently an environmental crime.”
He explained that “the trees absorb the high temperature and prevent fires,” and warned that “the situation in the coming years will be much more dangerous than it is today because of the climatic changes, which requires the state to put strategies on the ground to avoid this environmental catastrophe.”
A strange phenomenon in the sky of Lebanon

On the other hand, Kamel warned that “the water crisis that the country is going through is very dangerous and required by the state to give scientific guidance to citizens to confront the drought that we suffer from and prepare a basis of agricultural and water strategies.”
He pointed to the shift of rivers and banks to turn into random dumps to get rid of sewage waste, in addition to the problem of dehydration of about 70 percent of the artesian wells of water in the Bekaa, and he also talked about leaking large quantities of water through tanks and resorting to the healthy injustice for daily consumption of drinking or using my home, calling for a comprehensive survey of encroachments on water networks and completing the work With unknown dams. ”
Kamel stressed that “it is possible to develop a comprehensive strategy for many years to reduce the water scarcity crisis, and it is possible to develop a plan to deal with the powerful situation,” warning that “the next year will be the worst and most dangerous and must be prepared and implemented plans on the ground.”
