The English club Manchester City has determined the value of selling its Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush during the current summer transfers, in light of the interest of a number of clubs in contracting with him.
Marmoush joined City in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt, but did not participate regularly due to the team’s reliance on Norwegian Erling Haaland.
Speculation increased about his departure after his participation with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he did not score or assist any goal, and was criticized for wasting some opportunities.
According to the “TEAM TALK” network, Newcastle United and Tottenham have inquired about the possibility of including the player, while Manchester City does not mind his departure for 60 million pounds sterling.
Marmoush had previously been linked to Barcelona and Aston Villa, but City has not received official offers yet.
The Egyptian striker played 61 matches with Manchester City, during which he scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists.
