The Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Corporation announced, in a statement addressed to citizens, that it will continue to supply the city of Beirut with water on a daily basis through the Burj Abi Haidar and Tallet El Khayat stations, where distribution is being made to various neighborhoods and regions in accordance with approved operational programs.

The Corporation indicated that the ongoing maintenance work on the Jeita-Dbayeh Canal is proceeding according to the established plan, and is expected to be fully completed within the next two weeks.

The statement explained that the completion of these works will reflect positively on the reality of water nutrition in the beneficiary areas, as it will provide additional quantities estimated at about 15 to 20 percent, which contributes to improving the level of service and stability of distribution. The Corporation confirmed its continued efforts to follow up on rehabilitation and maintenance work to ensure the sustainability of the water facility and develop its services.
