A recent technical report revealed that many Google Pixel phones include useful features hidden within the settings, although they are capable of significantly improving the daily use experience.
The report explained that the most prominent of these features is the “Quick Tap” feature, which allows quick commands to be executed by tapping twice on the back of the phone, such as taking a screenshot or launching specific applications, in addition to the “Live Caption” feature, which adds instant translation to video and audio content on the device.
Also, lesser-known tools include the “Comfort View” feature, which helps reduce eye strain during prolonged use, in addition to smart features to improve images and manage calls and messages more efficiently.
According to the report, a large number of Pixel phone users do not benefit from these capabilities because they are not activated by default or because they are buried within the settings menus, even though they provide practical advantages that enhance productivity and ease of use.
