With the announcement yesterday, Friday, of putting the final touches on the ceasefire agreement between America and Iran, which will include Lebanon and will be signed soon, a number of tourism establishment owners breathed a sigh of relief, hoping that this agreement will enter into force as soon as possible to accommodate the summer tourist season.
A number of tourism establishment owners confirm that “as soon as the ceasefire is announced, many expatriates will want to visit Lebanon and spend their vacation there, which will revive both tourism and economic activity.”
They pointed out that “the summer season is still at its beginning, and therefore it is possible to compensate for part of the huge losses that have befallen the tourism sector in recent months, especially since Lebanon provides various tourism services that are comparable to the best summer tourist destinations around the world.”
