On Friday, the southern Lebanon front witnessed a wide escalation in the pace of field operations, as the Islamic Resistance announced the implementation of a series of missile attacks and assault marches against sites, positions and vehicles of the Israeli army, in response to what it described as violations of the ceasefire and attacks on southern villages.

The resistance said in successive statements that its operations targeted Israeli positions, gatherings, and vehicles in Shama, Tayr Harfa, Al-Qozah, Rashaf, Yammar Al-Shaqif, Naqoura, Tallet Al-Hamams, Mazraat Surda and Balat, in addition to targeting military positions and two artillery positions, using assault marches.

It announced the targeting of a military vehicle in Tayr Harfa, and an Israeli force inside a building in Shama, in addition to a “Hummer” vehicle and two “Merkava” tanks in the vicinity of Yammar al-Shaqif, confirming that direct hits were achieved in a number of operations.

It also reported targeting a position of Israeli soldiers inside a hotel in the town of Naqoura with an assault march, in addition to bombing the new Balat site and gatherings of vehicles and soldiers in Al-Qozah and Rishaf with missile launchers.

In a related context, the military media published video clips of previous operations, including the targeting of a “Merkava” tank in the vicinity of Beaufort Castle during the “Ababil” assault march, and the bombing of Israeli gatherings and vehicles in Bayyada, Rishaf, and the vicinity of Beaufort, in addition to targeting a new artillery position in Al-Adisa and a D9 military bulldozer on the eastern outskirts of Zawtar.
