This evening, southern Lebanon witnessed a massive field escalation, represented by a series of simultaneous Israeli raids that affected a number of southern regions and towns, in conjunction with the targeting of a car near the Lebanese Red Cross center in the city of Tyre, which led to the deaths and injuries, including paramedics.

The “Lebanon Debate” correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car near the Lebanese Red Cross center in the city of Tyre, while ambulance and firefighting teams from the Lebanese Civil Defense – Tyre Center worked to pull a martyr from the targeted car.

According to preliminary information, the targeting resulted in the death of at least three people and the wounding of more than five people, including three members of the Lebanese Red Cross.

For its part, the Lebanese Red Cross announced that four paramedics were moderately and slightly injured as a result of the targeting that took place in front of its center in Tyre, confirming that they were transferred to the hospital to receive treatment.

In parallel, Israeli raids continued on several areas in the south, as the “Lebanon Debate” correspondent reported two raids on the town of Kafr Tibnit, while two Israeli raids targeted the towns of Al-Sama’iyya and Al-Duwair.

An air strike was also recorded on the Al-Hosh area, as part of the wave of targeting that affected a number of southern regions during the last hours.

This escalation comes after a day full of Israeli raids that targeted several towns, including Al-Kharayib, Al-Zarriya, Al-Maashouk, Arabsalim, Al-Burj Al-Shamali, and Al-Samaiyah, which reflects the expansion of military operations in the south.

It also coincides with repeated Israeli warnings to residents, the most recent of which was the warning given by Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee to the residents of the town of Zaqouq al-Mufdi, calling for immediate evacuation and heading north of the Zahrani River.

These developments come in light of the continuing field tension on the southern front, amid escalating raids and mutual threats, and increasing fears of the expansion of the confrontations at a time when political and diplomatic efforts are continuing to stabilize the ceasefire and prevent the situation from sliding into a broader confrontation.
