Spanish coach Pep Guardiola has made his decision to enter the coaching experience in the Saudi Professional League, “Roshen League,” after receiving an official offer from Al-Nasr Club to take over the job as successor to Portuguese Jorge Jesus.
Jesus had left Al-Nasr after winning the Roshen League title, which prompted the club’s management to move quickly in search of a prominent coaching name to lead the team in the next stage.
This offer comes at a time when Guardiola is spending a rest period, after ending his career with the English club Manchester City at the end of last season, which extended for a full decade during which he achieved a series of local and continental titles, before opening a new page in his coaching career.
According to what was reported by sports journalist Bandar Al-Waqit, the Spanish coach has decided his position once and for all, rejecting the idea of working in the Saudi League during the current stage, stressing that he does not include the Roshen League among his options, while focusing on continuing his training career within Europe.
