Recent technical reports revealed a list of “Samsung Galaxy” phones that will exit the major update support cycle, and will not receive the upcoming “One UI 8.5” interface.

This exclusion comes as a result of the end of the time period allocated for software support for these models, as the South Korean company is focusing its software efforts on the latest generations to ensure stable performance with advanced features.

The list includes a group of devices that were widely popular, including old models of the (S) and (A) categories, in addition to some foldable devices from the first versions.

Although these phones are deprived of the new interface and its innovative features, the sources confirmed that the company may continue to provide periodic security updates for some of these models for a limited period to ensure the protection of user data.

Experts advise owners of these devices to consider upgrading to the latest versions to benefit from the security and artificial intelligence improvements that the upcoming updates will provide.
