Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi expressed his happiness at the team being crowned champions of the Champions League for the 2025-2026 season, after defeating Arsenal in the final, which was held at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

Al-Khelaifi said in statements to “Canal Plus”: “Thank you all.. The second win is the best. The first win was special, but the second win, in succession, has a very special place in our hearts.”

He added: “We worked for many years for this cup. We won it and we want to win it again, but today we want to celebrate.”

Regarding the fans of Paris Saint-Germain, Al-Khelaifi said: “We have the best fans in the world,” before calling on the fans to celebrate quietly, adding: “Please, let us not cause any problems. We celebrate, but without any problems. We will return tomorrow to celebrate together.”

The regular time of the final had ended in a 1-1 draw, before Paris Saint-Germain won the title on penalties with a score of 4-3.

This is the second victory in the history of the French club in the Champions League, and the second in a row under the leadership of coach Luis Enrique, after he had won the Champions League.
