In a new indication of the possibility of increasing the level of escalation on the Lebanese front, the “Walla” website quoted an Israeli source as saying that the army had given the green light to tighten responses to Hezbollah’s marches.

According to the source, the Israeli army has “several ways” to escalate its response to the continued launching of marches, considering that the policy of restraint towards Hezbollah has begun to harm what it described as its “operational achievements.”

Walla indicated that the next stage may witness new steps against the continued launching of drones from Lebanon, in light of the escalation of Israeli concern regarding this field path.

In this context, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for intensifying strikes against Hezbollah, while Israeli Channel 12 revealed that the army has prepared a series of operational plans, some of which are immediate and some of which include in-depth operations, but they are still awaiting approval from the political level.

The channel indicated that part of these plans is stuck in discussions between the army and the government, while another part is related to the talks between Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump.

The channel quoted a senior Israeli official as saying: “There will be an expansion of the operation in Lebanon in the near future.”
