Director of the Directorate of Companies and Property Protection, Abdul Majeed Abdo, said that the number of companies registered as limited liability companies reached 1,349 companies, while the number of companies registered as joint liability companies reached 432 companies, 38 limited partnership companies, 24 private closed joint stock companies, and 3 closed joint stock holding companies.
He added that this development reflects the government efforts made in developing the services provided to investors, and facilitating the procedures related to establishing companies and organizing their work, which contributes to creating a stimulating and stable investment environment after completely rehabilitating and developing the services of the Directorate of Companies, and modernizing them to provide more flexible and quality services to investors and businessmen, according to the Syrian News Agency “SANA.”
