Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, confirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran “stands by Lebanon and the resistance,” noting that Tehran “has suspended the agreement with the United States of America to stop the war on Lebanon.”

Fadlallah said, during a ceremony honoring the martyrs from the town of Khirbet Selm who were martyred in the battle of the “Eating Storm” in Husseiniyat al-Barjawi in Bir Hassan, that this condition “was set by the imam and leader, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the leadership of Iran and its people,” considering that “the war will not stop only in Iran, but in the entire region, especially in Lebanon.”

He added that Hezbollah called on the Lebanese authority to “take advantage of this regional umbrella that is being formed in Islamabad,” stressing confidence in Iran “and its role and support for Lebanon and the resistance.”

Fadlallah believed that the central issue today is “liberating the south and defending Lebanon in the face of Israeli aggression,” considering that what the enemy is proposing is “occupying the land and displacing its people,” and that “there is no choice but resistance to preserve existence and dignity.”

He stressed that Hezbollah “will not return to the stage before March 2,” stressing that any abandonment of the resistance option “will lead to the loss of the South,” pointing out that “no political solution has been proposed that preserves the South and sovereignty and prevents the continuation of Israeli attacks.”

Regarding internal affairs, Fadlallah said that the Lebanese authority “went to direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy,” considering that it was “taking a path that does not lead to results,” and accused the Americans of practicing “blackmail” to push Lebanon to make concessions for free.

He added that the United States “has brought the authority into a path whose goal is to force it to make concessions even without obtaining anything,” calling on it to “set limits to this concession” and demand a comprehensive ceasefire within a specific time limit, the return of the displaced, the release of prisoners, or the cessation of these negotiations.

Fadlallah pointed out that the authority had received “American promises” for a ceasefire, but “the result was false promises,” calling for a reconsideration of the adopted political option, and setting a basic condition for any indirect negotiation with Israel, which is a ceasefire.

He considered that continuing negotiations while Israel continues to kill the Lebanese “increases the internal division,” as if it “grants the enemy a license to continue killing,” calling on the authority to take a clear position denying these allegations.

At the end of his speech, Fadlallah stressed the need to benefit from “the power of resistance and internal cooperation,” stressing that the priority remains “to confront the Israeli enemy,” despite all the internal disputes and divisions.
