Escalate to"Loyalty to the resistance" He links the Dahr El Baydar crisis to the performance of the Ministry of Energy

The “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc escalated its position regarding the performance of the Lebanese authority, calling for a reconsideration of the option of negotiating with Israel, and warning of the repercussions of continued attacks and threats to expand the war. These positions came during its regular meeting held today, Thursday, November 5, 2026, in the presence of all its members, to discuss political and security developments locally and regionally.

Regarding foreign affairs, the bloc believed that the results of the American midterm elections, which led to the Republicans losing the majority in the Senate and the House of Representatives, reflect American voters’ rejection of the “expensive and failed” war on Iran, and American support for Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip. Despite this, the bloc warned against exaggerating the bet on the transition of the majority to the Democrats, pointing to the agreement of the two parties on the established strategic goals of the United States, foremost of which is protecting Israel and its global influence, and stressing that changing the majority in Congress will not bring about a radical change in foreign policy or guarantee the cessation of Washington’s support for Tel Aviv.

On the US-Iranian confrontation line, the bloc indicated the intensification of mediations and the exchange of messages between Washington and Tehran, considering that “the race for war and a solution is still the master of the situation” in light of the continuing US military build-ups and Israeli threats to expand the scope of operations inside Lebanon.

Locally, the bloc strongly criticized the Lebanese authority’s handling of what it described as “coldness and indifference” to the ongoing Israeli attacks on the south, including the destruction of villages and the threat of assassinations and widespread operations, considering that the insistence on direct negotiation on the terms of the framework agreement has left nothing but more devastation. It called on the authority to review its accounts and stop being arrogant, focusing on the report of the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations on the Prevention of Genocide, Bani Chaloka, entitled “The Danger of Ethnic Cleansing of Shiites in Southern Lebanon: An Early Initial Warning,” where the Lebanese government called for broad international action to confront these systematic violations.

Regarding the case of the explosives car that was seized in Dahr al-Baydar, the bloc called for an end to the accusatory and media debate and to make room for “wise national solutions,” denouncing the political positions that denied the Lebanese people’s right to defend their homeland. She also expressed her regret at what she described as “the shameful outbreak of hate speech and incitement” through some media outlets, criticizing the Ministry of Information’s absence from confronting this phenomenon that threatens internal stability.

On the services side, the bloc denounced the unprecedented deterioration in the electrical supply, which reached the point of threatening a power outage at Rafic Hariri International Airport, holding the Ministry of Energy responsible for the failure and evasion of duties.

At the conclusion of its statement, the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc renewed its full solidarity with Iran’s leadership and people, praising the positions of Iranian Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, and affirming its firm adherence to the option of confronting American and Israeli policies in the region.
