A family dispute over priority parking for a car in the town of Majdalbana in the Aley District turned into an armed conflict between cousins, resulting in the death of one person and the wounding of four others with varying injuries.
In detail, the dispute broke out between the two parties over a car parking situation, before it quickly developed into a clash during which the so-called (G. A. Al-Khaleq) opened fire, leading to the death of (B. H. A. Al-Khaleq) and the wounding of four others.
Medical information indicated that among the wounded was (H.A. Al-Khaleq), the father of the dead man, who was transferred to receive treatment at Mount Lebanon Hospital, in addition to (E.H.A. Al-Khaleq), who is receiving treatment at Al-Iman Hospital in Aley, while the rest of the injured were distributed among hospitals according to their health condition.
This crime re-highlights the danger of the escalation of individual and family disputes and their transformation into bloody armed confrontations as a result of the use of weapons in disputes that have their origins in simple daily details.
