Argentine star Lautaro Martinez led his Inter Milan team to secure a valuable draw (2-2) against its host Roma, in the confrontation hosted by the Olympic Stadium in the Italian capital, yesterday, Saturday, in the fourth round of the Italian Football League.
Roma imposed complete control over the course of the first half, starting scoring early through player Manu Kone, who scored the first goal with a perfect shot with his right in the sixth minute, before the same player returned to add the second goal with his left in the 37th minute, ending the first half with the hosts leading by two unanswered goals.
With the start of the second half, Inter Milan entered with a completely different performance, through which Lautaro Martinez succeeded in quickly reducing the difference in the first minute of the second period (minute 46), before returning and scoring the valuable equalizer in the 79th minute, thus engineering a strong comeback for his team and saving it from defeat.
With these results, the two teams recorded their first draw this season. As Roma raised its score to 13 points from five matches, sitting at the top of the standings on goal difference from runner-up Inter Milan, and only one point behind Cagliari, which rose to third place, benefiting from its away victory over Udinese with a clean goal that secured the signing of player Daniele Maldini.
