Kylian Mbappe led Real Madrid to a major victory over Rayo Vallecano, 4-1, in the match that was held at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the fifth round of the Spanish League.
Mbappe opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 14th minute, making up for the kick he missed against Real Betis in the last round, before setting up Alvaro Carreras’ second goal three minutes later.
Jude Bellingham added the third goal in the 35th minute, taking advantage of a pass from Vinicius Junior, while Sergio Camilo reduced the gap for Rayo Vallecano in the 51st minute after a defensive error.
In the final minutes, Mbappe scored his second and fourth personal goal for Real Madrid after a pass from Arda Guler.
Coach Jose Mourinho’s team raised its score to 12 points in second place, while Rayo Vallecano remained in fifteenth place with 4 points.
