FC Barcelona announced in an official statement that revenues for the 2025-2026 season set a new record after exceeding one billion euros for the first time.

FC Barcelona will hold its regular general assembly on Saturday, September 19, despite the date conflict with the Seville-Barcelona match scheduled for nine in the evening, via video communication technology, at nine-thirty in the morning on the first date and ten on the second date.

The assembly will present the financial accounts for the 2025-2026 season, during which the club achieved record revenues exceeding one billion euros, compared to 994 million euros in the previous season, in addition to presenting the budget for the 2026-2027 season.

Barcelona confirmed that recording revenues exceeding one billion euros represents a new record for the club, and this was achieved despite the operational challenges associated with stadium capacity during the season.

The official statement indicated that the improvement in revenues resulting from the exploitation of the stadium was one of the most prominent reasons for reaching this figure, despite playing some of the team’s matches during the first half of the season at the Johan Cruyff Stadium and the Olympic Stadium, in addition to holding some matches at the Spotify Camp Nou with an audience of 42,000 spectators.
Barcelona added that the club was close to the budget that was set for the season, even though it assumed the start of the season at the “Camp Nou” stadium, with a crowd capacity exceeding 60,000 spectators from the beginning. (Russia Today)
