We seek to make Lebanon a vital platform for regional trade

The Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamani received a high -level delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) that included the regional director of the eastern Mediterranean region, Garden Perry, Director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Department in the Middle East and Africa – Sustainable Infrastructure Group Aida Sadikova, and the director of the Lebanese Office Alessandro Vitadini.

The meeting dealt with investment opportunities and financing insurance mechanisms for the private sector, with the aim of encouraging partnership with the state in strategic projects. The research knocked on a number of basic files, most notably: Qulayat Airport, Beirut Port, Tripoli Port, and the Khalda – Al -Aqiba Highway, along with international roads from Beirut port to the factory and from the port to the northern border.
