Activists on social media circulated a video of Michel Hayek, which sparked widespread interaction amid recent developments in the province of As -Suwayda in southern Syria.

In the video, Hayek said: “The storm is blowing in As -Suwayda and geography will not remain the same,” in a statement that some considered a prediction of the current events.

He added: “The settlement of the sheikhs in the endosperm is car bombs and is at risk.”
